A long, long time ago, in a Hollywood that seems very, very far away, Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt.

We all know how that story ended.

Well, maybe not.

According to Page Six, purveyor of all things true, Pitt, who as we all know is divorcing Angelina Jolie, has been texting Aniston.

A source says Pitt reached out to his ex-wife, who is now married to actor Justin Theroux, to wish her a happy birthday—and they have been texting ever since.

“There has just been some friendly back and forth, nothing more than that,” the source said.

While I, of course, can't be sure what they've been texting about, I do have some ideas...

Brad: So, what's new?
Jen: ...
Jen: ...
Jen: Not too much. You?
Brad: ...
Brad: Not too much.

Brad: So, I heard you're pregnant. Congratulations!

Brad: Do you still hang out with David Arquette? I miss that guy

Brad: Hey, do you want to see a photo of my sculpture? It’s taken me, like, 10 days. I’m almost done.
Jen: Absolutely not.

Brad: Did you see La La Land?

Brad: So, Justin, huh?
Jen: Yeah. He's amazing.
Brad: Yeah, I guess, if you like that sort of thing.

Brad: I can't believe he sent Corinne home before the fantasy suites!
Jen: I know. I didn't see that one coming.
Brad: Well, hopefully she'll be on Bachelor in Paradise.

Brad: My mom says hi.
