If you were looking for another reason to boycott Uber, Busy Philipps has a good one for you.
In a terrifying but completely hilarious recount of her night, Philipps, 37, posted an eight-minute Instagram story detailing an Uber ride she took with her husband, Marc Silverstein, which quickly turned into a situation from a horror film.
Sharing the story with her half-a-million followers, Philipps says she and Silverstein got into the Uber and immediately felt the driver was acting odd.
"I said to my husband, 'Oh, that guy was weird. Are you sure he’s not going to kill us?' Philipps recalls.
"And then from the f***ing way back, a voice is like, 'I promise that won’t happen' and there was just a f***ing crazy, scary dude in the way back of this Uber."
Yep. So, the couple had ordered an Uber Black, one of the higher-end cars on the ride-sharing service. They sat in the middle row, while there was a third row behind them—that should have been empty.

After the terrifying man in the back row told them that he absolutely wouldn't murder them, Philipps freaked out.
"Basically I was like, 'I will not be killed tonight!' and I jumped out and started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver," she says.
"I’m not trying to be alarmist or whatever, but I definitely feel like those guys were trying to murder me tonight. I legitimately feel that way and it was really scary."
Her husband corroborated her story, calling it the "weirdest thing that's ever happened to me."
Philipps and Silverstein ended up calling a Lyft to finish the ride after they jumped out of the Uber, but were concerned the original driver would know their address.
As reports, Uber is aware of the incident and is looking into it further. Philipps made a complaint through the app about another person in her Uber, which is against company policy, but didn't take it further.
She is, however, boycotting the app.
"I'm done with Uber! Never again! NEVER again. That was legitimately the scariest, weirdest, worst thing that's ever happened in a car situation for me."
