Today is Kim Kardashian West's 36th birthday. The star has canceled plans to celebrate in Las Vegas (like she has for four out of her last six birthdays). But while lot has changed since her robbery at gunpoint in Paris a little over two weeks ago, one thing that hasn't is the support and love shown by the entire Kardashian/Jenner family.

This morning, Kris Jenner shared a collage of throwback photos of baby Kim on Instagram, wishing her second eldest daughter a happy birthday.

"Happy Birthday to my precious Kimberly!" Jenner writes.

"I love and adore you…you have brought so much joy into all of our lives and you are the most wonderful daughter, wife, sister, friend and mom. I thank God every day he blessed me with you and I cherish every single moment and memory. My heart is full of gratitude and I love you more than you will ever imagine or know… Mommy xo"

No matter how old you are, sometimes, when things get rough, you just want your mom. And on the flip side, no matter how old your kids are, you're still going to worry about them, and want the best for them.

It's plain to see the matriarch of the Kardashians/Jenners is grateful for her kids. And that no matter how famous you are, mother-daughter love shines through in any situation.
