Olivia Munn is ace. She knows how to make fun of herself (remember her turn as a terrible stripper in the Magic Mike spoof?). And she knows how to look spectacular in a dress.

And in her hilarious Instagram post on Sunday, the 36-year-old Newsroom star combined her talents.

"I tried this dress on the other day and then saw wearing it in a magazine and thought "Oh, THAT'S what it's supposed to look like." 😝😂"

She literally who-wore-it-bested herself.

And look, she's not wrong. You know the feeling: when you get a really great dress, and you're feeling yourself…until you see someone else wearing it like it's a bespoke tailored glove. Especially when that someone is Jennifer Lopez, patron saint of impossibly toned curves.

It's okay, not all of us can look this good in what is essentially a crocheted rug, even if you happen to be fortunate enough to look like Munn. She gets it—sometimes you have to leave it to the experts.

Like, say, Lupita Nyong'o, who wore a dress from the same Balmain Resort 2017 collection to a premiere earlier this year.
