In possibly our favorite piece of celebrity news ever, we've found out it's not just us who think Reese Witherspoon and her 17-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, look SO alike.

Reese's colleagues even get the two confused.

During Elle's Women in Television event over the weekend, Witherspoon told a hilarious story about the time a film executive talked to Phillippe thinking she was her mother.

"I had a premiere for that movie Sing! over Christmas, and the head of the studio went up to Ava and congratulated her on the movie," Witherspoon told Entertainment Tonight.

She continued to gush over her daughter.

"I just love her. I'm so lucky to be her mom, and I just love having her in my life and getting to go everywhere with her. It's a great honor."

Ava Phillippe is no stranger to Hollywood. As the daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, Ava, 17, has been "famous" for her entire life. But this weekend, she attended her first red carpet solo—and everyone took notice.

It was at a launch dinner for Chanel's fragrance, Chanel No. 5 L’Eau. Also in attendance were Kristen Stewart, Pharrell Williams, Lily-Rose Depp and Alexa Chung.

Ava looked great. But it wasn't just her excellent outfit (head-to-toe Chanel) we were staring at. It was her eerie resemblance to her mom, 40-year-old Reese.

The pair have posed together for twinning photos in the past, and it seems that every year that goes by, Ava looks more like her mother.
