2016 was a big year on the celebrity baby front. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds added to their family. As did Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.
Those two alone all but secured the future of Hollywood.
You know, unless their children decide to become brain surgeons or theoretical physicists.
But if that ends up happening, the 2017 class of celebrity children will be there to pick up the slack.
Here are our favorite stars who are expecting their own mini-mes in 2017.
Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman has been making the award-show rounds with a passenger in tow.
The Oscar nominated actor is expecting her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied.
Ciara
Ciara and husband Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson announced they were expecting on Instagram on her birthday in October.
"On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I'm excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give... 👶🏽🍼💃🏽☺️❤️," she wrote.
Amber Tamblyn
Amber Tamblyn announced she and husband David Cross were expecting their first child in October, in an essay about Hillary Clinton and motherhood for Glamour.
"Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon. I'm pregnant, with a daughter on the way," she wrote.
"I think constantly about the world I am bringing her into. How much do I have to do, as a daughter and a soon-to-be mother, to change not just the conversation about how women are seen, but the language and conversations are spoken in?"
Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot announced she was pregnant with her second child on Instagram in November.
The Wonder Woman actor has been following that up with a lot of great pregnancy related posts.
Amanda Seyfried
Amanda Seyfried told reporters she was expecting her first child with fiancé Thomas Sadoski at a Givenchy perfume launch in November 2016.
"I can smell electricity," she said at the time, according to People. "I swear to God I can smell the TV."
Irina Shayk
While Irina Shayk nor Bradley Cooper have actually confirmed the news, Shayk announced her pregnancy when she walked in the Victoria's Secret fashion show with a visible bump.
(If you can call that a bump.)
Lauren Conrad
Lauren Conrad and husband William Tell announced they were expecting their first child on New Year's Eve.
Since then, she's yet to post any photos of her baby bump. Or maybe it's a baby hill (#sorrynotsorry).
Marion Cotillard
Marion Cotillard announced she was expecting her second child with her husband Guillaume Canet—after news of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's split lead to rumors that she and Pitt were having an affair on the set of Allied.
"I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up," she wrote on Instagram.
"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need."
Lake Bell
Actor/writer/director/all-around badass Lake Bell and her husband Scott Campbell are expecting their second child together.
Bell announced her pregnant by simply showing up visibly to an event in December.
Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Deschanel and husband Jacob Pechenik are expecting their second child, a source confirmed to People.
No word on whether it's a New Girl or a new boy, but the baby will sure be adorkable. (Seriously, sorry.)
Laura Prepon
Laura Prepon and fiancé Ben Foster have yet to make an official announcement regarding Prepon's pregnancy but sources close to them say baby Foster is on the way.
