If the '90s smelt like teen spirit, 2016 smells like Apple Inc.
Chances are you're thumbing your way through this post on your iPhone, or dragging a finger across the silky touchpad of a MacBook Pro as you read this, and if you're a dyed-in-the-wool Mac fan (sorry PC, the war is won), we have good news.
There's now a "New Mac"-scented candle.
Truly.
It's not by a candle maker, but by Twelve South, a tech accessories company specializing in Apple products. They might be onto something—everyone knows the best feature of your new laptop is the smell. It's the new new-car smell.
If you cannot afford the real one, then smell it. https://t.co/69NjHOqULC

So when you next want to have a bath, but can't be on your phone and lap-top—because water—you can still fill the room with the sweet aroma of expensive tech. Isn't the modern world great?
The hand-poured soy wax candle actually features scents of mint, peach, basil, lavender, mandarin, and sage: ingredients you might not have clocked in your MacBook before now, but which may, apparently, be there.
Twelve South is already out of stock of the candle (giving us all déjà vu of our FOMO from the last iPhone release), but have more in later in the month, so you can pre-order online.
Now sit back, and let the jokes roll in.
I think I'm going to wait and upgrade my candle when the New Mac 2 comes out 😂 https://t.co/O6qDI21Tv3
