Hillary Clinton returns at last.
The former Secretary of State obviously needed a serious vacation after the events of this past election season. But she's back, and raring to go.
Refinery29 reports that Clinton spoke in San Francisco this week—she was the keynote speaker for the 2017 Professional BusinessWomen of California Conference—and announced that she's stepping back into public life to continue fighting for the rights of women and girls.
"To all the little girls watching...never doubt that you are valuable and powerful & deserving of every chance & opportunity in the world."
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton)
Clinton told the crowd:
"I’m fighting for a fairer, big-hearted, inclusive America. And the unfinished business of the 21st century can’t wait any longer. Now is the time to demand the progress we want to see…and I’ll be right there with you every step of the way."
She also made a point of addressing the challenges and issues women face in the workplace and dedicated herself to continue fighting for equality for women at work.
"Obviously, the outcome of the election wasn’t the one I hoped for, worked for," Clinton said. "But I will never stop speaking out."
