You already know you should never assume a woman is pregnant when you don't know for sure. But the other element of this vital rule is never make an assumption about how many weeks pregnant a woman is.

Telling your friend she "looks like she's having twins" because your sister was a lot smaller at 32 weeks? Just plain rude. It also ignores a glorious truth about the female body. No two women are the same, so it makes sense that no two pregnancies are either.

Nowhere is it easier to find proof of this than on Instagram. Where women from all over the world post pregnancy selfies and hashtag them with how many weeks pregnant they are.
