Massachusettes Senator Elizabeth Warren will release her latest book, This Fight is Our Fight: The Battle to Save America's Middle Class, this Tuesday.
The release has prompted a response from conservative group America Rising PAC, the same group that attacked Hillary Clinton following her 2014 book, Hard Choices.
America Rising views Warren's book release "as the soft launch of her presidential campaign," according to executive director Colin Reed.
“We view book launch as the soft launch of her presidential campaign. We’ll do the same to her as we did with Hillary Clinton in 2014.” https://t.co/LRQjsZXog7

"We’ll do the same to her as we did with Hillary Clinton in 2014," Reed continues. In 2014, the group set up a "war room", which carefully monitored Clinton's book-related media appearances.
According to a memo summarizing the group's intentions, they plan to do the same with Warren and her book. They'll collect opposition research, use video tracking, FOIA and public records, and generally aim to "make Warren’s life difficult" during her 2018 Senate re-election.
The ultimate goal is to halt any possibility of a 2020 presidential campaign.
Warren, on the other hand, denies that her book release is in anticipation of a presidential run.
She told Politico: "This is my 11th book and books are part of the way I fight for what I believe in. Right now, I believe we’ve all got to be in the fight and that’s why the book is called This Fight is Our Fight."
