3. Bare Element Beauty Box (one month $49.99)
Based in gorgeous South Orange County, CA, Bare Element founder Basha Weerasuriya is a biologist who works in genetics full-time, while running this delightful small business as a hobby.
"I studied molecular biology and biotechnology and did my research on household chemicals and tumor growth which really got me started on looking into what’s in the products I use daily,” Weerasuriya explains.
“Research really opened my eyes to how many unnecessary toxic ingredients were really in our conventional bath/body/beauty care items. Not to mention the lack of regulation in ingredients and labeling. I developed a passion for cleaner living overall and switched over to green beauty soon after.”
Every month, Bare Element selects three to five full-or-deluxe-sized products to send you, from both old and new brands, with a focus on self-love and finding balance of mind and spirit. You can buy a subscription, pre-pay for three months at a time, or just buy one month at a time.
